Things that make Sean Sean1


When he can't concentrate, he uses a hair dryer to create white noise (he's doing it while creating this page).

He worries constantly, about lots of things, but still rock climbs anyway.

He has four bikes, rides them all, and wants more.

He does math...for fun. He's often worked the same math problem for years.

He sometimes solves math problems in his sleep.

His favorite TV show was, is, and always will be Magnum, PI.

He sees the 10 digits in color, without fail, as follows: 0  1  2  3  4  5  6  7  8  9

He's been cutting his own hair since the late 1990s.

If he gets too much sleep, he gets tired. And cranky.

If he doesn't eat regularly, he gets tired. And cranky.

If he sleeps on his stomach, his back hurts the next day.

He's chased down drivers who have run him off the road while he bikes. Amazingly, he hasn't been shot yet.

He eats the same thing for breakfast every day (and usually lunch, too).

Speaking of eating...a few years back, at Jen's lake house, he made 3 pounds of pasta for a bunch of his friends. No one wanted any, so he sat down and ate all of it.

He still plays with LEGO's (and uses them in class occasionally).

He won't let anyone pass him on the trail or the road without chasing them down and passing them back.

He's only not been afraid of heights since 2002.

He thought of putting heaters under driveways to melt snow when he was in the 2nd grade. Unbeknownst to him, it was an idea already invented.

He talks to himself while biking by himself.

He's seen Platoon over 100 times. And knows most of the script by heart.

Ditto The Princess Bride, and Back to the Future (the first one).

He cries whenever he hears "Don't Stop Me Now" or "39" by Queen, and misses Freddy Mercury constantly. Rest in peace, my friend. You left us too quickly.

He always, always cries at the end of Watership Down. If you've read the book, maybe you have too. But probably not.

At summer camp in 1984, whiule reading Different Seasons by Steven King, he thought to himself, "Hey, this Rita Hayworth story would make a great movie". Ten years later...

He celebrated his billionth second (2:01:06, March 5, 2005)...and thinks you should, too.

This list only represents the weird stuff of which he's aware...probably less than 10% of what there actually is.

He'll add to this list whenever he notices something else.

He actually thinks people will read down this far.
